According to my personal experience, Used on transfected Huh7 cells expressing HBcAg. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA at RT for 15 min before washing three times with PBS. Cells then stored at 4'C in PBS containing 50mM ammonium chloride, 0.02% Sodium azide and 5% serum. When used for IF microscopy, punctate labelling seen throughout cell. Was unsure whether this antibody was conformational so ran it in conjuction with a known conformational anti-HBcAg antibody and obtained similar results on IF.
